On May 7, 2024, the Onondaga East Chamber will once again host our spring dinner/auction to benefit the FM Food Pantry and Heaven’s Pantry in Minoa, as well as the operations of the chamber. Known as the Party for the Pantries, the event will take place this year at Heritage Hill Brewhouse on Sweet Road in Jamesville. Heritage Hill has quickly developed a great reputation as a fun and festive restaurant/brewery featuring some of the best views in Central New York.

As you may be aware, the need for the services these food pantries provide has increased in this post-Covid inflationary period. The FM Pantry now provides healthy, nutritious meals to more than 150 families, consisting of more than 350 community members. One-third of these families have children and another third are supporting seniors. The situation is similar at Heaven’s Pantry, which serves families in the East Syracuse Minoa school district. In addition to nutritious meals, the pantries also provide personal items that for many are unaffordable – deodorant, paper towels and toilet paper, dish and laundry soap, etc. The need is great and their service is invaluable.
As a business in this community, we are hoping you would be willing contribute some product or service that could be auctioned off at the Party for the Pantries to help support this mission. What that contribution looks like can be varied. At a typical auction we have gift certificates to local stores and restaurants, jewelry, artwork, tickets to entertainment, even services like a dumpster rental or golf lessons. Just about anything you think people would like to bid on would be happily accepted.

To make a donation, simply fill out the form below and drop off donations at the chamber offices in the basement of the Fayetteville Municipal Building (425 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
